BLACK COMEDY

For this production of Black Comedy I was Assistant Properties which meant I would help the Props lead with everything props related and together we would prop this show. One thing about this show was that it was very set dressing heavy so we would visit many antique stores to pick out a bunch of furniture items for this show. The “chekhov's gun” of this show was the Buddha statue that would sit in the front of the stage that would eventually have to break at the end of the show. We went through many renditions and forms of Buddhas until we got it just right so we eventually wound up with quite the collection of Buddhas as pictured below.
